1. Graduate programs
To obtain admission to the MSc in Accounting and Finance program, applicants should fulfil the admission requirements
To obtain admission to the MSc in Development Economics program, applicants should fulfil the admission requirements of the School of Graduate Studies of Lunar International College. The program is open to any applicant with a minimum of BA/BSc Degree in Economics, Development Economics, Finance and Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Natural Resources Economics, Environmental Economics, and Statistics. Students from other disciplines can also join the program after taking bridging courses. The courses include the following: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Introduction to Econometrics. If the students have already taken any of these courses, the courses will be exempted.
2. Undergraduate program
Applicants for admission to the BA Degree in Business Management program must satisfy any of the following criteria:
– Two-year relevant work experience after graduation
– Certification of occupational competency (COC) assessment from Level I to IV.
– Pass the college’s entrance examination;
3.A degree program student from other accredited Higher Education Institutions with
– legal withdrawal and/or
– Transferred in case of institutional preference or field choice;
4.An applicant who has successfully completed a degree program at any level (BSc/BA/MSc/MA/PhD) from an accredited university/college. Applicants who have attended a degree program at any level abroad should bring higher education equivalence letter from HERQA
5.Foreign applicants should have valid passport and entry visa to Ethiopia, with residence permits; preferably student visa.
6.In case of high competition for admission, the result from entrance examination of the college will be taken in to account. The entrance exam will be an aptitude test containing Mathematics and English
2.1 Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance
The normal duration of the study for BA Degree in Accounting and Finance is four years (8 semesters) for regular program and five years (14 semesters including 4 summer semesters for extension (evening and weekend) program. A total of 149 credit hours of course and research project work (the final year research project) is considered as a full load of the program.
